It is I whom you call Jesus, the Christ, and I speak on behalf of the Council of Light. You have asked a question that is troubling and disturbing to you. You have asked about intolerance, prejudice among humankind. It is true, as you know, there is only one God; there is only One Universal Light, and all exists within that Light that you call God, the Oneness, the Father, the Mother, the All-encompassing Totality. Within that Oneness, there are many colorations—a full spectrum of light, a rainbow, all leading to the One, to the clarity, to the purity, to the Oneness. Each unique soul is part of the greater whole. But you were crafted, created as unique expressions of the Divine—each one special, each one serving a purpose within the Universe. Not always purposes that are understood but each one perfect and a part of that wholeness, that Oneness.

And within the Oneness, within the Light of the Christ Consciousness, within the realm of the Divine, there is no prejudice; there is on intolerance, no judgment in the form that you know, the form that leads to prejudice and intolerance. Within the Oneness, there is only understanding and clarity and acceptance of each unique expression, and we love you just as you are. We love the ones who are intolerant, who are prejudiced, just as we love the ones who are faced with that intolerance, who must be challenged to deal with it and move beyond it.

Once I walked the Earth. I lived among you as a human. I, Jeshua, knew you and understood you and thought like you and existed within the physical form. And I encountered much of prejudice. I saw it in the temple; I saw it in the marketplace; I saw it in the desert; I saw it in the cities. There was no place that it was excluded save in the hearts of the very youngest child who had not learned it yet.

Sadly, most of you cannot remember to when you were so small, so new in this life, that you had not learned intolerance. Your soul coming fresh from the light knew only what it was to exist, to learn, to begin to grow in this life. And in that time when you were so new to this world, all that you were concerned with was what it was to live and be in that moment. Learn the lessons from that newborn child: If you live in the moment, are you intolerant; are you prejudiced? If you exist within the moment, are you connected to the Divine and free from the encumbrances that block the flow of Light?

So it is time to begin to unlearn some of the things you learned as a child, for each one was taught in some way—whether small or great—taught to be intolerant, taught to think of another in a way that made them separate from you. Perhaps you were taught it in regard to race; perhaps you were taught it in regard to class; perhaps you were taught it in regard to the level of one's education, one's intelligence, one's belief system.

It is not wrong to judge when you think of judging as discerning. One of the greatest gifts you learn early in your life is to discern what is a behavior that is acceptable and what is a behavior that is unacceptable. Those who do not learn this live their lives in pain and struggle. To discern what makes you happy, what makes you unhappy, what helps you grow, what stunts your growth—every moment of your life is about discerning and making decisions based on that discernment. That kind of judgment is a wonderful gift. But the kind of judgment that separates you from another, that separates you from anything or anyone and forces you to believe that somehow you are not a part of the whole or that someone else is not part of the whole, the kind of judgment that leaves you feeling separate or leaves anyone feeling separate—that kind of judgment is what you need to unlearn.

And you ask, "But am I not to understand when someone else does wrong?"

Please understand we do not wish to interfere with what you call law—right, wrong, morality—these things are part of your system of belief and of government and most are based upon prudence, upon experience, upon respect for other human beings. This is fair and just, indeed, quite important, to be able to act in a way that is kind and accepting of all others rather than hurtful. So please understand that this is not what we are speaking about when we speak of judgment. Yes, of course, it is proper to have these kinds of systems when they are necessary as they are in this particular third-dimensional reality. As you move into a higher state of being, there will come a time when such things are unnecessary, because you know love to a greater degree and are existing within Love as is everyone else upon that plane of existence. But here in the third dimension until the time of Ascension, that is not the kind of judgment we are speaking of.

But when you judge another in some way that makes you feel either better or less than they are—in any way that makes you feel separate from them or see them as anything less than the part of humankind that they are just as you are—that is the kind of judgment to be unlearned. If you truly begin to love and accept yourself, it is easier to love and accept all others. We understand when you say that you are intolerant of intolerance within others. But hold a mirror up to yourself when you say such things. It is important to understand that that too is its own prejudice, and until you learn to accept those who are intolerant—even if they are intolerant toward you or something you represent—until you learn to accept them and to love them, how can you hope that they will learn to accept and love you as you are?

When you see acts of prejudice in the world, acts of intolerance, discord, disharmony no matter what they are based on-whether it be religion, belief system, race or anything else—when you see these acts, it is easy for the human to become angered even (and at times especially) one who is loving in nature and who wishes kindness to all beings. But until you achieve that kindness within your heart, that compassion for all-including those who are intolerant, including those who are judgmental, cruel, prejudiced—how can you hope to eradicate such intolerance and cruelty?

So look within your heart; look within your mind. Ask yourself when you see these atrocities in the world, when you see terrible things being done because of intolerance of one group for another, of one person for another, ask yourself, "What part of me is intolerant? What part of me can be healed? And how can I come to love all beings—including those who have committed these acts?" It is difficult; we understand this. It is difficult to turn the other cheek; it is difficult to love the one who strikes out at you, who shows intolerance, cruelty, prejudice. But we ask you to do it—to find it in your heart to love the part of yourself that you would wish not to see, for even among the most enlightened among you, there may still be some small thread of intolerance that needs to be cleared, healed, loved and allowed to become filled with Light.

So when you find yourself criticizing others for their intolerance, hold a mirror up; turn on the light and shine that light into the deepest recesses of your heart and your mind, and look for any small speck of intolerance that exists within you. And when you find it, love it, love it enough to let it go. It may not be easy, but the first step is shining the light on it. The next step is asking the Divine for assistance and giving thanks for that assistance in helping you to heal that part of yourself. So rather than turning the light outward toward others to see what flaws may be found, what prejudices, what judgments, turn the light inward.

Find your own places of intolerance; begin to understand them. Seek out the source from whence they came. If you can, think back to the very first time you felt that kind of intolerance, and look at that moment; remember where it came from. Was it something that was evoked by an act of intolerance that was inflicted upon you? Or was it something that was taught to you by a parent or by society or by another person or group? Seek out the source and shine a light on that moment and heal that moment. Go back to it; picture it in your mind as vividly and completely as you can. Picture it—that first moment of intolerance within you. What was its cause? Whatever it was, heal the cause. Sometimes it may be healed by simply reliving that moment. Sometimes it may be healed by simply shining a light on the source of that intolerance. And if it does not heal spontaneously in one of these ways, then simply ask for the Light of the Divine to assist you in helping you to love that part of yourself, to love its source and to clear that part of you and heal it.

After you have done this, whenever a moment arises in which you find yourself starting to feel that same intolerance, perhaps to a much lesser degree but just a twinge of it nonetheless still there, send it light. Go back to that moment again when it first started; relive it again. Seek out and make certain that you have cleared it away, that you have gotten to the very heart, the very core of the place the intolerance stems from, and then clear it once and for all.

It may be a process that requires a great deal of light—shining that light over and over again into that part of yourself—or it may clear quickly and easily if you are ready. But know this, just as with so much that you are doing, just as with your other Lightwork, understand that you are helping to ease the level of intolerance and prejudice within the world every time you shine that light into your own psyche, into your own self, your own heart. Each time you clear out a part of your own prejudice, you ease the burden of prejudice upon this world and bring a little more light and take away a little more of the power of prejudice and intolerance in the world.

So that is what we ask. And we love you. Know that we are not judging you. Whether your journey is rapid or slow, whether your progress is great or small, we are with you. We love you and accept you as you are and see you in your perfection. I am Jeshua. Know that my love abides within each of you, and no matter your belief system, no matter your religion, the Love and the Light of the Divine abides within you. May you be blessed, and may the Light fill your lives and allow you to live within the moment in joy. And so it is.
