Build the Magic Dream
(for my wonderful husband Drew in celebration of his birthday)

Build the magic dream
visions made of stardust
pouring from heart and mind
into the Earth plane
the reflecting pool of the Universe
reveals the infinite power of your soul
in every wisp of cloud
every ray of sunlight
cascading across the sky
the light pervades this realm
sparkling into the spirits
of those who imagine and create
souls such as yours
whose ethereal essence transforms
and brings to Earth
to every grain of sand
every strand of clay
supporting our footsteps
your magnetic alchemy
drawing upon the stars
to build the magic dream.
